A New Announcement!
I have added a new page to the website with a big announcement, something I’ve been wanting to do for a while and have just been too scared to take the leap. Part of the dream for this business is three-fold:
I want to
use my talents and gifts to provide people with beautiful art for their home that reminds them of the natural beauty that surrounds us
be a conduit of funds for art collectors and admirers who want to make a difference by buying art that gives back to different nonprofits
take care of me, and my family
A new nonprofit organization has been formed in Fort Collins, Colorado near where I live, and we are raising money to renovate a fully donated building to house multiple nonprofits and to meet needs for about 1,500 under-served people per month of our community all in one building!
I want to use my business to give to this organization, and in the future, other nonprofits. I want to bring light and hope into people’s spaces with my photos while also caring for our world and its people. I want my art to make a difference.
A few weeks ago and last fall, I got to shoot photos for an event to help raise money for this renovation and donated a piece for the silent auction. We had some amazing, local musicians come out to play, we ate some good food, and had great fellowship. I can’t tell you how alive shooting for an event like that makes me feel, and I want to keep chasing that dream as long as I can.
So the announcement is that Stormy Gale Photography will be donating 10% of its monthly profits to this incredible organization, and I will be continuing to shoot for events to help with this incredible project! If you’re local and you see me around! Come say hi!
